Default 2016 cruze traction control low power

We took the car to the dealer and are told it is the accelerator and is not covered by warranty. the car only has 44,000 miles and to me this would be a part that makes the car move? has anyone else ran into this?

Do you have bumper to bumper warranty or only the drive train? I have had dealers tell me things are not covered. Then I called customer service and they said it was covered and had it repaired for free. You could get lucky.

i would think the accelerator would be covered as its a major safety issue, that is if you got a warranty
