Default Clicking in engine.

Apologies for my ignorance on cars. I just drove from North Carolina to Fort Lauderdale in my 2011 Cruze and it was fine. When I went to the store and accelerated I noticed a clicking sound coming from the engine. It didn't do this before or the entire ride down. No engine lights came on but it's not accelerating like it had. Today when I took it for a drive to examine the noise it drove o.k. but randomly the " service traction system" light came on. I have no idea what to make of it. From what I've read it could be the fuel injectors. Any help would be great. Thank you.

It may have turbo problem if your car is equipped with 1.4L turbo engine.

The ECM may request traction control to be disabled. This will set a code in both the EBCM and the ECM and show a service message in the DIC. DON'T CLEAR ANY CODES before taking to the dealer for service.
