My check engine light came on in my '14 Cruze and when I ran the code scanner on it the code P0597 came up which is "thermostat heater control circuit/open". I googled it and it might mean I need a new thermostat. My temperature never runs hot and always stays at a normal level. Should I take it into a garage or ride it out?
