well i thought i would be the first since there wont be anyone asking how to fix these cars yet...
we here in north america love coupes, many cobalts were coups and were a much more pleasent car to look at. also a high horsepower car to have fun with would be nice, there has to be pent up demand for one since the cobalt SS turbo was discontinued for 09
this is a very competent chassis and the engines we have on tap at GM are amazing (except for the iron blocks) and build huge power that shames all others (but only when GM wants to)
lets hear it if we get enough on the band wagon it may be built

I agree. Most compacts are driven as commuter cars. Two doors have wider doors and it's easier for 1 or 2 people to get in and out of them. Not to mention that 2 doors are much better looking vehicles.

There is speculation that there will be a 260 HP Cruze SS with a 2.2l turbo aluminum block. Ya know, it still blows my mind how GM can make a 2.2L engine push 260hp when my factory 81 z28 350 was rated at 190 HP....
I'm exited to see how the sales of this car are going to go. Chevy is off to a good start getting it heavily featured in Hawaii 5-0...

1st post :-)
Glad I'm not the only one questioning horsepower and engine size on the Cruze. I have been looking at them to possibly buy one and give my son my old Grand Am SC/T.
The LT and the LTZ both have a 183hp 1.4L turbo engine and the LS has a 183hp 1.8L. Yeah, yeah I know there rated differently @4500rmp and 6500rpm or so respectively, but to me there's not that much difference. I would have figured ehhh bigger engine, throw the turbo on it to give more HP, but I guess not. I was so confused when the saleman at the dealership told me this.....
