I have only owned it a year it's been in the shop at least five times! Now my fan continues to run even when the car is off and now tuning hot, no lights on to show there is a problem, y even have lights if they don't come on when there is a problem? And of course the warranty is gone. So now 124 too even see what the problem is.. And who know how much more money I will have to drop. 300$ two weeks ago on a new battery! What trash this is my first Chevy promised to be my last! And this seems to be a on going problem with the Cruze model Chevy should do something to help people out , we spends thousands on their product the should stand behind what they sell, not all of us r rich and can afford to keep fixing the trash they sell!!

 

What kind of battery did you buy for $300.00??? What year is your Cruze? Did you buy it new? Was it taken care of? I had a 2011 Cruze and had no problems with it except the battery and that was replaced for free under warranty.

 

there is a ton of them around and its just like anything else, some go forever no issues and some have problems all the time. Maintenance and TLC go a long ways but aren't always to blame.

 

Don't get me wrong I love me car, but enough is enough! I bought from there dealership kept everything up to date, took car of recalls the second I'd get a notice. The battery came from my dealership which was 199.99 and I got a warrenty on it also so with taxes and everything else it came close to 300! It has been in the shop more times than I can remember! I'm just saying maybe the car I purchased was a defected model or something, it's just sorry to pay the damn thing off in December and now I'm stuck with paying more and more just to keep it running! I'm done with Chevy and as my opinion I will never purchase or recommend them to anyone! It's a 2012 model. Just got the call back from them today I will spend another 560.00 just to get it running again!

 

I find myself saying this more and more...curse chevy all you want but it happens on every make and model, if you don't believe me go hop onto some toyote ford dodge Nissan any other brand forums and you'll see griping their also. I will say that I never see myself owning a cruze, but I have nothing bad to say about the pickups and other K bodies
