How to remove factory stereo Chevy Cruze
Hi guys, for those of you wanting to remove your factory stereo on your Chevy Cruze and install a new stereo here is a video on how to do so.
you can also use this video to get to your factory stereo wiring to add a line out converter and also add a remote wire to the factory stereo.
when removing panel peices use a plastic panel removal tool like the following picture
if you dont have one try to use your hands to remove the panel pieces. Using tools like flat blade screwdrivers and pick tools can scratch the dash.
never turn the vehicles key to the acc,on or run postion while the stereo and switches such as air bags and hazard are disconnected this may trip a computer code that can most of the time can only be reset by a dealership
