Well, just doing the 1 year check in on the wife's Cruze.

She just hit 40K miles, yeah she drives alot..lol.

Absolutely perfect and she loves it just as much as when we got it,
Even have lots of tread left on the original Michelin tires.

I change the Oil myself religiously every 5K miles with Mobil 1

Great Car!

I personally think going with the M1 is a great choice...I was speaking to a forum member from another site about the Cruze and said he was using the Amzoil in his with very good results...

Can't really go wrong with those well known brand synthetics. Even the Dexos I am pleased with. My gripe is most people want to go about 10k plus miles in between oil changes. And I think that's where some of these problems people say they are having with their cruze's. I really like the car. Many people around our area are buying the Cruze diesels now. And so far they are extremely happy. Claiming 45+MPG combined driving. And most are saying 53+ highway. Wish I could enjoy one.

YES I know that.
Ours was built in August of 2011 and is a 2012 model.

Identical in every way to the 2011 models. One of my best friends is the service manager a at dealership.Software updates on 2012 models did not happen until December of 2011 at the factory, even so all the hard parts are the SAME.

Jesus, when are you going to give it up already considering over 200,000 Cruzes were built during the 2011 Model year and the VAST majority are just fine

Just because yours was crap why do you keep trying to sway people here with their buying decision...consider adding something constructive at least once

Getting pretty tired of YOUR posts as well and always in CAPS LOCKS...get a life. You have made your point at least 50 times here
