Default Locating VSS (Speed Pulse)

We have a new Cruze LS 2.0 Diesel. Need to fit a taximeter. Does anyone know where to locate the VSS wire. Have tried same place as EPICA, but no joy.

The company that makes the meter may have a wiring harness that you can order.

As far as I know the speed sensor at least on the automatic is internal to the transmission. And is this day and age, why don't you have GPS based taxi meter?

Firstly, anyone can FIT a meter with the right feed, very few can set the tariffs, councils like to see a certificate (and bill) from an installer

as for a GPS meter, they simply arent accurate or reliable enough, they lose satellites in bad weather or under tunnels, and also, they use the satellites that guided cruise missiles and they often landed away from the targets...

I was quoted £250 for a new meter supplied and fitted or £300 if it needed a canbus connector
