2011 Chevrolet Cruze check engine light came on. I took it to local auto parts store to check the code and it came up with p0299. Now the car runs fine with no hesitation or no noise or nothing out of the ordinary. I googled the code and it say bad turbo charger. Any help would be appreciated

 

So is this a common problem with 1.4 liter turbos. I have done some research and it may be the Wastegate pin causing the problem
