Default Remote Starter Issues

Hey there, I've been having issues getting my remote start to work. I've tried the common stuff like valet mode and changing the battery, and those don't seem to be the issues. I'm into the territory of obscure issues I think. I have a 2016 Cruze Limited LT Turbo. Does anybody know anything about this? I'm suspecting the hood pin, but I don't have any error codes on the dash or OBD-II.

Yes, they work. I can do every other function on the key fob without issue. Even if I try to remote start, the headlights flash letting me know the car didn't start, so the car is receiving the signal from the key fob.
