2021 Tahoe

Why does my hatch start closing/opening on me without me pushing the button?

Welcome from Florida. Check the button to make sure it is not sticking and not returning to the off position.

I did try that. The strange part is, it only happens every now and then. I do hear the alarm that sounds before it starts to close. I've been just walking by and it opens on it's own.
