i have a 2008 hummer h3 alpha, 5.3 liter rpo LH8. have low oil pressure, testing at oil filter location. new oil pump and pick up tube o-ring. according to lubrication description in si, i am checking directly from oil pump before it goes through engine, not making sense. wish bone- oil direction plug in block. any help be appreciated.

hot idle below 10 psi, testing at oil filter directly from pump
