Hello, currently thinking about building a 283 with dual quads, 10.5:1 or 11:1 compression ratio and possibly throw in a L79 cam or a mild hydraulic roller cam. But my main question(s), does anybody know what size CFM those carbs were on the 60'-61' dual carb 283? Also, I'm aiming for decent low end torque at around 1500-3000 RPM and decent horsepower at around 4500-6000 RPM, what kind of secondary would you recommend, vacuum or mechanical? Also, to get close to those goals is it possible with the L79 or would you recommend a completely different camshaft? Thanks in advanced.
