Exclamation Destroking a 350

I need to build a motor that conforms to rules allowing a 283, 302, and 305. I currently have am running a 305 which is not putting out the power needed. I have a 350 4 bolt main and a 262 motor to spare. I was considering putting the 262 crank into the 350 block essentially making a 311 (4"x3.1"). To reach the deck height I was going to run 6" rods with 383 pistons that have a pin height of 1.425" . With this combo ( if i calculated right) would put me .050" under the deck height of 9.025. Would this be a possible combination to build to conform to my rules? Also, would it be a good high rpm motor that would make more hp than a 305. Thanks!

But your 311 c.i. exceeds the 305 limit.
