So here's my story....one morning started up the Equinox and the most annoying high pitched sound started coming from the speakers. No other chimes or sounds worked, not even OnStar; I thought maybe it was the amp. Took it to the dealership Paradise, and they started doing their investigation after I told them about the issue and what my concern was about the amp. Guess what......4 days later and numerous troubleshooting calls they finally say it was the amp....uh..duh. $1000 to pay for someone to get on-the-job-training for troubleshooting. The amp is around $250 brand new, and $100 used on ebay, so you're saying labor is worth 3x the price of the item to be replace even after I mentioned what the issue was. What a crock......I'm now changing my name to Chevy H8R 4 Life. Been screwed over enough by GM, and enough is enough!
