06 Equinox - Heating problem
Hi Everybody,
I know, and I've read about, that this is not the first heating issue posted in this forum. So, I'm gonna add up another one
I recently just changed my thermostat (bought that one from PartSource, part name is MOTORAD), because of a heating problem which started last summer, went fine for a few days then the heating issue persisted. I researched more about this issue and found that maybe the reservoir cap was just not supplying the proper pressure, so I replaced that as well, was fine for a few days then the problem was still there.
And then by some miracle or something the heating problem went away, this was for a good 2 mos. this time, so I thought that was a fixed problem. But winter time came, and I'm talking about -15C and the heating problem came back, and this was while I was sitting in traffic, but as soon as I start to roll, and not fast too as this is city stop-and-go driving, the temp drops back. I am lost here.
I guess my last statement would be a plea of....HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
Hear from you guys soon. And thanks in advance.

Hi tech2, sorry for the late late repy been very busy with something else.
Nyways, it's not a heating issue with the vents, it's an engine overheating issue.
Thanks for your interest hope to hear more inputs from you.
