Default Power Steering Went Out After Changing Battery
I have a 2009 Equinox and changed the battery. The car started fine however the steering became really hard to turn. What could have caused this? Has anyone else experienced the same problem. Really can't afford to go to a dealership right before Christmas.

check the 80amp black fuse at the underhood fuse block...the usually blow when someone connects battery jumper cables wrong.
