battery went dead today

on my 07 tahoe i was playing the radio today an battery died an now my engine light is on an want go off

Welcome to the forum,
did you recharge the battery or replace it?
if recharged, you may need to disconnect the battery and reset everything, disconnect it for several minutes, re-connect, and see if everything has reset.

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Most auto parts stores will scan for codes for free.
