06 Equinox P 0481 Replaced both fans. Secondary fan pigtail (it was burnt on one terminal) and 5 prong relay under the left front wheel well. Code keeps returning. A/C works fine, temp gauge is fine. Both fans seem to work with the exception of one time they were not on. But A/C and temp were good.

 

There are three cooling fan relays. One for the high speed power source, one for the low speed power source, and third one that switches the fans between series & parallel operation. The relay under the front left wheel well is the series/parallel relay. The other two relays are in the underhood fuse block, and I suspect one of them is bad.
