2005 Chevy Equinox LT
I am new to the forum, but I have done a lot of research without any luck so please let me know if you have any suggestions.
I drive an 05 Equinox and I am loosing power randomly while driving in in rain city/highway.
I have taken it in for service, but all they tell me is the ABS is activating because the computer is sensing the vehicle is beginning to hydroplane. No lights will come on when this happens.
Basically, the RPM's will drop to idle and the the gas pedal has no power.
It's a very scary feeling to loose complete power of your vehicle driving 55+ down the highway, so please help.
I owned the vehicle for about a year and half, and never experienced this until a few months ago.
