Default 2007 equinox - service tire monitoring system

I recently purchased 4 new tires for my Equinox. One week later the Service Tire Monitoring System light came on. It is registering the air pressure in all but one tire. The LR tire pressure just has two lines and no air pressure --. Do I need to reset the system, or is there something wrong?

alffy1965, I would suggest first checking into your Owners Manual on page 394. This page has the instructions to relearn the TPMS system. If you perform this process and it does not fix the issue I would suggest having the vehicle checked by your dealership. I hope this information helps you and if you continue to have issues feel free to contact me.

When you got your new tires did they sell you new sensors? if so the tire place may be able to assist with relearning as well, if it won't re-learn then the sensor may be defective of bad.

I was going to try to reprogram them tonight. I had done this before after my tires were rotated, so I know how to do it. I did not purchase new sensors, so hopefuly relearning will work. Thank you!
