Default 2008 Equinox jerky at 50 -55 mph

I have a 2008 Equinox w/95k miles. When driving at around 50 - 55 mph with slight acceleration (1500 - 2000 RPM) the car gets a little jerky. Like it's struggling to shift gears. I did some reading and found it might be the transmission solenoid. Thoughts?

If this is the problem - Is the solenoid inside the trans? Can it be replaced without removing the trans?

Thanks!

Which engine does your Equinox have - 3.4L or 3.6L?

Is it noticeable in a straight line or only when turning?

I ask because ours has had a slight shudder for quite a while - probably the last 30K miles or so. In my case it's most noticeable when turning right. I'm wondering if yours is doing the same thing.

My fluid is good and level is where it should be.

I'm not sure how serviceable the solenoids are. I would think they would be accessible after removing the front pan.

@ruley73 The shudder happens when driving straight, as well as around a bend. My fluid is good and at proper level as well.

Mine is an 07 with 94,000 miles and it runs great except for this happening. It only seems to happen when I'm at a steady speed of around 45 to 55, and need to pick up speed, on even a slight incline, and I would describe it as Gas pedal flutter or hesitation. It evens out after about 3-5 seconds of acceleration and is ok after that. When I have to give it hard acceleration going up a steep incline from a dead stop it doesn't do it at all.
