2010 E'Nox LT noise in rear of vehicle
Noise only happens while the vehicle is being driven (in motion), and ceases when the vehicle has come to a stop.
Sounds like high-pitched, metal on metal squeaking. Best way I can describe it is it sounds like a loose, squeaky bolt.
It is more pronounced when braking (I assume due to vibrations when brakes are engaged).
Squeaking is quiet but constant while in motion.
It is coming from the rear of the vehicle and sounds like it is inside the vehicle.. coming from near the hatch or the spare tire compartment.
I drove a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am that had the exact same noise coming from the exact same general area of the car. I did not locate the source of the noise in the Grand Am.
Has anyone had experience with this or know what it may be? I have to crank the radio while driving because it drives me insane.
Thank you for your time.
