Hey there, i just recently got this and i was trying to figure out how to link my phone up to the radio, its a 2010 equinox LT, i pressed config and select phone but it keeps saying not available, what am i doing wrong? I would i need to swap out the radio for the one that actually has a little navigation tv screen instead of the digital looking one. Can a person actually swap those out if need too? Would you need to swap the disk player too or just the radio part? I apologize for all the questions, just really would like ti get my phone hooked up

 

I would have to do some research to be sure, you could research this also, but I believe the navigation system requires that the vehicle be equipped with a navigation module and the equipment(antenna) that goes with it. I also believe that this is the same module used for On Star.

 

Well it does have onstar.. just wish i could stream music from my phone over the radio and control it via radio
