We purchased a used Equinox last year. As we got free oil changes for 2 years we never really paid much attention to the oil level. A few month ago my wife complained about the engine stalling and engine making noise. I check the oil and it was off the dipstick so I filled it which took 2 1/2 quarts. Then a few days later I changed the oil myself. Within the next 1500 miles it was low again. Started stalling at stop light creating a danger to my family. We added another 2 1/2 Quarts and now its low again. I have 78KM on it now is it still covered under power train warranty? I read other post stating there was a TSB so why wouldn't the dealer check or mention this to Equinox owners?
