Default 2010 Equinox starts and runs but loses electrical

About 95k miles on this vehicle. Starts and engine runs fine. Problem is with electrical. Once the vehicle starts the whole dash turns off. No display, no radio, can't shift gears. If I turn the key the accessory mode the electrical all works, radio display everything. The electrical only turns off after the vehicle is started. Any ideas on what I could check to see what the problem could be or what could cause this?

could be a faulty ignition switch. Try jiggling the key.

I didn't think the ignition switch was the issue since the vehicle starts right up no problem. But I'll definitely try that as soon as it quits raining! Thanks, I appreciate all the help I can get

the ignition switch connects multiple circuits, each with their own contacts

since they work in accessory mode, I'm almost certain it's the ignition switch.

OBD codes were for timing issue and fuel pump. Was able to momentarily get it to work while moving the key. Sent it to the shop today, will see what they say. Thanks for the help I appreciate you taking the time to help this old girl out
