Recently purchased a 2010 Equinox LT with high mileage. Very happy with it so far.
The interior is immaculate except for the rubber-type steering wheel which is showing considerable wear in places.

What I would like to do is to replace the rubber steering wheel with the leather/silver steering wheel.

Does anyone know if the steering wheels are interchangeable? I realize there are different switch options, but would think the wiring harness is standard?

My local dealership was unable to help me in this matter.
