Bought new 1 Apr 11. 2.4L 4 cyl. About 8K miles steering started to catch slightly when doing normal steering corrections and while traveling on straight roads at highway speeds. Almost as if power steering was failing intermittently about 1 to 3 miles apart. Late Oct 2011, dealer replaced steering gear after finding a svc bulleting related to this problem. Steering worked great after that, but about 8K miles later the problem has returned. Have scheduled return visit to dealer.

Very disconcerting that it occurs and worried that it is getting worse. Any others having this problem with the electronic power steering system?
