We have an Equinox that the A/C has been giving us problems. Sometimes it works great, and then at times it's not cooling at all. The ambient outside temperature indicator goes crazy, as it shows 25°F when it's 100°F plus outside. Would this be the problem ? Is it low in freon ? Is the temp indicator in front of the grill the problem ? We live in Southwest Louisiana, and it's really hot over here. We need this A/C to function correctly please help !!

strong possibility it's the temperature sensor making the AC shut off to keep it from icing up.
