I'm sole owner of my equinox and it's been getting a weaker FM signal for the past year. I had 12 pre sets I used to be able to toggle through, but now I HAVE to toggle back and forth between 2 stations during my daily drives. Bought a new antenna and that didn't help, checked connections and wires from the mount and they're both good as well. What's going on and how can I get my original reception back?

 

Most newer GM radios have a secondary ground wire/strap attached to the frame of the radio to reduce radio interference. Make sure this ground is properly connected to the radio and at the grounding point on the other end.
