Default 2012 equinox sound system troubleshooting

2012 chevrolet equinox. Radio with RPO UYE. Vehicle has no sound, No radio, No door chime, no turn signal sounds .
Any help troubleshooting would be appreciated. All Power , Grounds, and communications are good. No Vehicle Systems Codes.

check for broken wires in the drivers door A-pillar. Pull back the rubber loom. Check for multiple radio fuses. sometimes there is one in the underhood fuse panel and one in the in cab fuse panel. If ok...you probably need a radio. if you go aftermarket...you will need a chime module to provide warning chimes/turn signal chimes/ steering wheel control connectivity.

I second checking for broken wires in the door jamb. If the speaker wires are shorted, that will put the radio amplifier in protect mode. Protect mode halts all output until the short is fixed. All the warning chimes come out through the front left speaker so shorted speaker wires or even a bad amplifier would cause them to not be produced.

I'm pretty sure all 2010+ Equinox use an external amplifier regardless of which radio option is installed. This is unlike the older 2005-2009 models which only have an external amplifer if equipped with the premium sound system and subwoofer.
