I'm trying to figure out this ticking noise. 2.4L 2013 Car runs perfectly. Fuel trims are perfect. I have replaced timing chain, balance shaft chain, sprockets, hydraulic valve adjusters. Ran car without accessory belt, still made noise.

That sounds like a bad high pressure fuel pump to me. Either the spring on the pump broke or the lifter follower/plunger behind it has failed.
