When restarting after the auto stop, the steering wheel
will sometimes jerk and several different malfunctions show up like service brake, service traction control, etc. Any idea what is causing this?

 

I'm having the same problem with mine also. Sometimes it completely restarts and the temperature control panel goes out, but is still on ( the buttons just don't work at the time)

 

I had a similar issue with my 2019 Equinox Premier. The car would shutter when the Auto Stop would disengage and I would get a periodic "Service Brake Assist" message or a "Service Parking Brake" message. I took it the car to a local dealer and they advised it was the battery. The battery was replaced and the issue with the Auto Stop, as well as the message regarding the brakes, ceased.

 

We had the same issue with our 2018 Equinox. After doing some online research and seeing others who suggested a new battery, we did just that. Replaced the battery and all of the dashboard messages stopped.
