I have a 2019 equinox. Would like to get seat covers but can’t get the headrests off. There isn’t a little tab to release it. Went to GM dealership, they said they don’t come out. Anyone out there with same problem?

 

they come out. its in gm service information.
-raise the headrest up to it highest point to access the retaining bezel
-twist the bezel ccwise and push the bezel up the adjuster rod
-push the restraint clip rearward and pull the head rest out
