2020 equinox with white smoke
So I'm leasing a 2020 Chevy equinox and I've been having issues with stuttering and white smoke. I took it back to the dealership and of course there was nothing wrong. It wasn't showing any codes and no white smoke no problem when the tech drove it. I noticed the white smoke when I let it run for more than 5 minutes. My brother-in-law said he had the same problem with a Malibu and it was a loose oil pan does this seem plausible. If so how?
I will be the first to tell you I don't know all the answers, but I have some serious reservations about a loose oil pan producing anything but an oil leak. Kinda sounds like a "blinker fluid" explanation.
If anything there may be a service bulletin to cover this. What if another dealership were to check this out?
