Hey yall , my 2022 Chevy equinox RS just started making this loud clicking sound today when I press the brake pedal in park . It does this only in park and I’m assuming it’s the shift interlock solenoid making the sound to unlock my shifter . I’ve heard the noise before but it was so quiet that I didn’t pay much mind to it but today it’s loud!. Iv seen other posts saying it’s normal but I’ve never heard this sound before in my vehicle this loud before and it’s pretty loud. I can hear it with my fans and music on and feel it in the pedal and shift **** when it’s happens ? Anybody know how to quick fix this ? I talked to my dealer ship today and they said it was normal and read other posts saying it’s fine with a lot of other vehicles and models but I don’t think they realize how noticeable the sound is from just a week ago.
