Hello, just purchased a brand new 2023 Chevrolet Equinox RS model & I am experiencing a weird popping/clicking sound when driving coming from the dash/gauge area behind the steering wheel. From what I have noticed, this only happens when the car is going 75+ mph, the sound isn't too loud but definitely noticeable. The dealer says they are not sure what's causing it & unable to help, but the problem persists. Could it be the a/c, a loose gauge on the dash? Any ideas I appreciate would hate to purchase a brand new car and be told it's something that cannot be fixed.

Did you ever figure out what this noise was? My brand new 2023 equinox rs awd started making this same noise shortly after purchasing it, mine makes this noise regardless of speed. I brought it to the chevy dealership multiple times, they kept saying they could not duplicate the issue, finally had me take a ride with them on the 3rd visit attempt and was able to duplicate the sound less than 1 minute into the drive. Was told it was the dash panels around the instrument panels. They put low friction tape said all was good. Picked it up and drove for less than 5 minutes and same sound was back and sometimes it’s more quieter. Brought it back to them for a 4th time and was told they could not duplicate sound again.
