'24 Equinox Lost Brakes, ABS and CE Lights
Hi, all ~
I bought my '24 Equinox new in January of this year. It has just over 16,000 mi on it (from driving Uber).
I was driving with the gear in standard Drive mode, and suddenly my ABS and Check Engine Lights come on at the same time. I tried to brake and the brakes didn't respond. Thankfully, my car slowed enough to where I could pull to the side of the road, it came to a stop, and no accident resulted. I put it in park and turned it off. When I turned it back on, I was able to drive home with no further brake problems.
The Check Engine Light is still on, but the ABS light is off.
I'll be taking it in tomorrow, but just as a heads-up, does anyone have an idea of what this might be? If so, do you have an idea of how much it might cost to fix?
