Adaptive Cruse Control Unavailable
In my 2019 Equinox Premium I periodically get the message that Adaptive Cruse Control is not available. As far as I can remember it is always during bad weather. Fog, heavy rain or snow. The other day in the snow both the ACC and the lane assist were unavailable. Is this normal? Is it that the sensors do not function well in marginal weather?
In addition once in a while my backup camera does not work. Or I lose navigation.
I wonder if something is loose or something is getting wet causing it to malfunction.
Thoughts??

the system uses cameras to see the lane markers/paint and forward vehicles. if the camera is obstructed by snow or salt it will be unavailable. the owners manual probably will say the same.

If TMOZER is having the same problem I had (no snow - no obstructions to the camera) he should take it because of warranty to the dealership, its something like the VID ECM that is faulty, it cost about $900 CAD to replace - covered under warranty.
