So with all of the horror stories I'm reading about, what year equinox would everyone recommend to have the least problems? My girlfriend loves her 2010 LT2 V6 AWD but it is not reliable enough. Timing chain X2, throttle body, etc. All within 6 months. Recommendations anyone?

 

A low mileage 2007-2009 Equinox with the 3.4L engine is the most reliable IMO. The next best one would be a 2014 or newer with the 3.6L engine.

The only recommendation I can give you is , DON'T buy another Equinox! I've had nothing but constant problems with mine. I got a 06 IT 3.4V6 . I know 4 other people who have Equinoxes and they havenothing but problems also. I'd go with the Traverse if your trying to stay with GM. good luck
