Brake controller install.
2019 Equinox Premier 2.0 T with a factory tow package.. E-Trailer list the brake controller pigtail as unconfirmed for a 2019, I would think it would be the same as a 2018 Nox. Where is the factory brake controller connector located?
I would like to eyeball it prior to ordering.

Edit - I just realized I gave you the wrong info about brake controls. Sorry.
There should be a blunt cut wiring harness zip tied to the rear of the vehicle near the bumper. If there’s an existing plug, trace the harness from the plug and you should be able to find it.
Below is the wiring diagram for trailer controls.

Thanks for the wiring diagram it is a big help.. Looks like they don't use a connector in the front just discrete wires that will mate with a standard Tekonsha pigtail.
I believe the factory installed 7 pin connector is prewired. Will check it out after I get the under dash installed.. Your help makes it easy...

If there’s a 7 pin plug from the factory then all you need to do is find the blunt cut wiring in the harness and splice it with the wiring for your brake controller. It should be pretty straightforward.
