Question Clueless....again!

Where is the starter located on a 2006 Chevy Equinox....when i turn her on she click click clicks then stops and until i don't turn the key again and give a little gas she doesn't start....Help ...I don't know what is wrong ...?

It doesn't sound to me like its the starter, it could be the battery is not strong enough to start the car. However the starter is usually located where the transmission is bolted to the engine, if memory serves me correctly it is on the backside of the motor on the driver side. But before you go taking that off test the battery and alternator, both can be done at your local parts store.
