Dashboard went to Metric after getting a jumpstart. The Menu to swap between Metric and U.S. disappeared. The menu options actually are mostly different than they ever were and no longer match what’s in the manual.

Googling just results in everyone telling me to follow the Menu prompts to swap back….that menu DOES NOT EXIST. There is no Menu to change metric to U.S & vice versa.

We tried unhooking battery and letting it sit and reconnecting, that didn’t work.

We brought to the Dealership and they fully replaced the battery and it DID NOT fix the issue. They also didn’t tell us they didn’t find a solution and we drove away before realizing and Service Center is now closed for the weekend.

Hours of searching and I have not found one forum or video that has the same menu we do (which does not have any options to change anything). I cannot find one other case of this even happening. We’ve been driving this way for 3 weeks. Using GPS on our phones to tell us how fast we are going and guessing on how hot/cold air and heat are from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

maybe you need to jumpstart it again

 

It’s been jumped twice since the issue due to dead battery, so we replaced the battery today and it’s still not fixed. I don’t know if jumping the new battery would help.

 

I'm joking. In TV/movies whenever somebody got amnesia from bonk to the head, bonking them again always brought them back

 

Well, I’m about to bonk myself on the head 😄 or move to Europe where this dashboard would be relevant.
