My wife has a 2018 Equinox with power locks. The issue is when I try to lock the doors from the drivers door (inside) its locks every door except the drivers. On the passenger's side door lock it locks every door. Are there some kind of security thing I can override (like Chevy tires to keep you from locking yourself out) or is it a bigger issue like electrical?

 

It's probably a safeguard to prevent you from locking your fob in the vehicle. I'd think that if you press and hold the lock button on the driver's door for a few seconds, the driver's door will lock too.
