Engine swap V6 3.6L to V6 3.4L

I have a 2008 Chevy equinox with 3.6L V6 engine blew; found a 3.4L V6 wondering if it will work if someone could get back to me about asap that b great

You'd need the transmission and related wiring too. The 3.4L came with the Aisin 5-speed, but the 3.6L came with the GM 6-speed.
