Can a tech 2 be used on a 2013 chevy equinox 2.4 2wd, if so how if not what is used to replace a tech 2

 

no, the tech2 is obsolete for the global A architecture which the 09 and newer nox are.
the tech2 is obsolete for all gm products after 2016.

gm has gone to a laptop based diagnostic system called global diagnostic system two or gds2.

You can still use any generic scan tool just not old factory scan tools.
