Drove 300 miles to visit a friend in the hospital. Area was dark so I back up a bit put it in drive turn the wheels and BAM run into something. About 5 miles an hour crunch the front right bumper / valance area. I'm pissed so drive back to friends house. Get up in the morning start the car and check engine light was on. Carry a cheap code reader and pulled a code (don't remember but googled and a MAF code).There's a small shop that my friend uses all the time, took it there told him what was going on.

Question I was wondering could that accident cause the MAF to throw a code?

 

Well seems things have changed. Mechanic called and says "he's pretty sure " it's the turbo that's the problem. Turbo making a weird noise, gonna call Chev dealer and see. And if it is I assume it's covered under the 5 year 60,000 mile drive train warranty?

 

It's covered unless the dealer says the damage caused it. I don't see how, but who knows...

 

Just got the car back, here are the codes P0101 , P0299, P0506, P1101. Off the the dealership.
