Looks like I've been lucky enough to join the Equinox oil consumption crowd. Started @ 28,000 miles when an injector went bad and raw fuel went thru the engine and took out the cat. With the numerous 1,000 mile oil consumption tests the vehicle has been to the dealership 12 times in the past year for any number of problems. I work at the dealership and they are offering piston replacement bit I'm wary of the cylinder walls since the raw fuel went thru.
