Default Knocking Sound

This is my 2005 Equinox LS 3400

Oil pressure is good, even changed the oil to see if there was any metal in it. None. Any ideas as to what it is??

I'd check for an exhaust leak around one of the manifolds or the crossover pipe.

Default 2010 Equinox Engine Issues

I purchased a 2010 Equinox in November 2014. Since, it has been serviced 4 times for engine knocking, tapping, hesitation. I have told that it has had 2 timing chains, new pistons and rings, yet I am still having issues on a GM certified vehicle. I am beyond frustrated. I had a 2005 and never had issues. Which is why I decided on another. I am now at the end of my warrenty and afraid of what will happen next. I wish the dealer or GM would just buy the dam thing back. I paid cash and we'll I'm afraid to drive the car. The latest issue is a crackered manifold. Really??? It has 80,365 miles on it. Uses a lot of gas also. Ugggg
