Question My 2010 Equinox is behaving weirdly
When i start up the car, it has the habit of reaching high rpm on it's own, without me even pressing the pedal, and after a few seconds it lowers back to normal rpm.
This happens, even when the car is still hot. Can anybody help me find out what's wrong?

That's normal; it's just to get everything going & get the fluids flowing.
